Lee County property tax bills being sent out

Lee County property tax bills for 2009 are being mailed out; the county tax collector said all should be in the mail no later than Sunday.  he county offers discounts for early payment: 4 percent in November, 3 percent in December, 2 percent in January and 1 percent in February.   Penalties will be added if payment is made starting April 1.  Information, including payment methods, can be found at the Web site, leetc.com.
